14 days and Counting!!!

Here we are just 14 days from Christmas and I am no where near having all my shopping done, (not to mention the hand made crafts that are supposed to be for my kids teachers!!) Anyway....enough about me....I thought I would grace you with some wonderful hand created gifts from some peeps I know. This is from Rachel Henahan. She taught a class at Funkie Munkie Scraps last week and this was one of the projects that we did. We used the Holly stamp from November Stamp of the Month from Great Impressions Stamps and Stazon Ink to stamp on the tile and then we colored them in and sprayed them with sealer. These make a wonderful Christmas gift for anyone on your list! Hope you enjoy!

Funkie Munkie turns 1 on Saturday, December 12th. What a year it has been! We have been so blessed to have met so many wonderful people over this past year! If you are going to be in Greenville this weekend, we would love for you to join us for our SALEBRATION! We will be open from 10-6 on Saturday with a FREE crop Sunday from 12-8. Bring your friends, scrap pages or cards and join us Sunday for this Fantastic Event!
Saturday, we will have make and takes and demos from 10-12 and give a way goodie bags every 30 minutes all day long! So come and join us and help Funkie Munkie say Happy birthday!

You see so many halloween layouts that are not the tradional colors where this one is truly based on the orange and black

Here are the deatails for the card:
Boo' Halloween Card

'Boo' Halloween Card - Card Making ProjectsYou will need:

* Cardstock - white or cream
* Black paper
* Orange paper
* orange organza ribbon
* pinking shears
* Tissue paper
* Bat and Spider stickers
* BOO foam cutout

Directions:

Stick the black paper to cover the cardstock entirely. You may also use black cardstock if you wish. Add a strip of orange paper after giving it a zigzag edge with pinking shears. Add an orange ribbon to it.

Tear tissue paper saved from packing material and glue it as shown. Stick the bat and spider stickers and complete the card with a 'BOO' cut out from fun foam. These are available at craft stores.

Feel the cool crisp air!!! Fall is FINALLY here! Finally, my sinuses will open up! LOL. I am going to steal an idea that i saw on my sister's blog. Since I don't own many halloween stamps myself I am going to feature a new halloween card off the web each day leading up to halloween. If you would like your card or project to be on the blog email me herewitha jpeg of your project. You may choose to submit one or more. At the end of October one of the submissions will win a prize by using random.org.

Heirloom Rubber Stamp Convention

Ok, so for those of you who have been following me......I need to apologize! I have not been blogging in FOREVAH!!!! So now we are back to the old self and I will be on it.
This past weekend we participated in the Heirloom Rubber Stamp convention here in Greenville, SC. We had a blast! Thanks to all of my vendors who helped make the show a huge success! Paper Makeup Stamps, Stamping Bella, CJK Designs, and Shirley's 2 Girls!

Savvy Scrappy Sistas Strike again!!

We had a great time last night at our Scrappin Club Meeting and we worked with punches! No we didn't knock each other out, we worked with paper punches. Corner rounders, shape punches, border punches, etc. We each made a 1 or 2 page layout using punches in our page. We were joined for the first time by Jacqui and Lorri and were glad that they came to play! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Stephanie Y and I spent an eventful day in Epcot at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida today. We were helping Fiskars celebrate it's 360th birthday. As soon as I can get photos loaded I will put some pictures up. We are having a great time although it is very humid here. Thanks to Lisa for running the show while I am gone.
